TC&C will be joining NAMIWalks on the United Day of Hope, May 18th, as the Black Therapists Walk Team. By joining our team, you - like thousands of others across the country - are bringing us closer to our goal of "Mental Health for All."

Tiffany Cooper, LCMHCA

Tiffany is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate who earned her Master of Education degree in Counselor Education from North Carolina State University.  She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle School Education from North Carolina Central University.

She understands that life can feel overwhelming when you’re trying to be everything for everyone. Whether you’re balancing work, family, relationships, caregiving, or navigating a major life transition, it’s easy to lose yourself while carrying the weight of everyone else’s expectations. You may look like you’re holding it all together on the outside while feeling anxious, emotionally exhausted, or simply not like yourself on the inside.

Tiffany believes therapy should be a place where you don’t have to have all the answers—or pretend that everything is okay. Her goal is to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely heard and understood. She tends to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as the Person-Centered and Solution Focused theories to explore the challenges you’re facing, uncover patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical tools to help you manage anxiety or grief, reduce stress, and move through depression with greater confidence and self-compassion.

She has a special passion for helping women who are navigating life’s many demands and transitions work toward a more balanced life. You don’t have to carry everything alone. Healing begins when you give yourself permission to ask for support, and Tiffany would be honored to walk alongside you on that journey.

In her spare time, Tiffany enjoys reading and spending time with my family and friends.
