Hiba Dahir, Master’s Level Clinical Intern

    Hiba graduated from East Carolina University in 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a minor in Recreational Therapy. She is currently pursuing her Master’s degree at Capella University and expects to graduate in June 2026. While completing her Master’s degree, she worked as a Registered Behavioral Technician for three years, providing ABA therapy to children diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder. Her goal after graduating in June is to apply to a doctoral program to become an LPC. 

    Her areas of therapeutic interest include Cognitive-Behavioral and Behavioral Therapies. She is passionate about working with clients to develop therapeutic interventions for depression and anxiety. She is an American-born Palestinian who values diverse communities and enjoys engaging in both Arabic and American cultures. 

    Her hobbies include singing, listening to music, walking by the lake when the weather is nice, and exploring new restaurants. As an introvert, she seeks alone time, but does find joy in socializing and going on adventures with others.
