Sydney Hart, LCSWA
Sydney is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate (LCSWA). She earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Campbell University and a Master of Social Work degree from The University of North Carolina at Pembroke. In addition, she holds certificates in Integrative Behavioral Health, Career Coaching, and Person-Centered Counseling. Sydney is also EMDR informed.
Sydney has over ten years of experience working with children and adolescents. Sydney also has experience working with adults. Sydney has experience in the school setting, non-profit sector, domestic violence shelters, community mental health, department of social services, and leisure, entertainment, and recreational (Parks and Recreation) sectors. Sydney works with individuals with anxiety, depression, life transitions, work-related issues, trauma, faith-based counseling, and interpersonal concerns.
Sydney believes counseling should be holistic and person-centered. She seeks to help clients come out of places of darkness and to embrace the light. Sydney enjoys walking alongside children, adolescents, and young adults as they partake in their journey of healing and wholeness.
During her free time, Sydney enjoys shopping, taking walks in the park, eating strawberry cupcakes, and sleeping.
Sydney offers both virtual and in-person counseling.
