Sheonya Fryar, Graduate Student Intern

    Sheonya is an intern in pursuit of her MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Licensure(LCMHC). She currently attends Capella University which has been an exceptional experience for her. Sheonya obtained her Bachelor of Professional Studies in Human Services at Metropolitan College of New York. 

    Sheonya graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in June of 2013. She has over 10 years of experience in the Social Service/Mental Health field. Sheonya has worked with non-profit/government agencies as a change agent for many years. 

    Sheonya has a varied skill set which affords her the opportunity to help individuals embrace the best parts of themselves. She is also a member of The National Society of Leadership. The NSLS Foundation supports people who want to help build a better world. They work to inspire people and help them become confident leaders who harness the power of potential for good. Sheonya believes people heal through self-awareness, readiness to change, and connection. 

    Apart from her profession/academics; Sheonya enjoys time spent with family, traveling, shopping, and designing handbags. She would consider herself to be “Fashion Forward.” Sheonya believes fashion is another form of self-expression and individuality. She enjoys attending women empowerment events to network/connect with like-minded individuals.

Sheonya offers both virtual and in-person counseling.
